Our Story
During the fall of 2020, Keenan was living in Boulder. He really wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons but, unfortunately, there was a pandemic going on and he couldn't leave his house. So, he turned to Reddit, looking for a group to play over the internet.
Meanwhile, Christina was living in Boston, and she really wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons. Alas, pandemic, so she also turned to Reddit.
By wonderful happenstance, both responded to the same post (after one or two misses) and, with new friends from around the world, began a series of multi-year campaigns that are still going strong to this day.
In 2021, Keenan was accepted into law school at Boston University. The next day, he found out that Christina was a lawyer in Boston. Decision made! Just kidding. But Christina likes to think it didn't hurt.
For whatever reason, Keenan accepted his offer and prepared to move to Boston in the fall. Christina invited him out for a welcome-to-town drink. They met in person for the first time at a beer garden on Boston's Esplanade on August 14th, 2021, and spent the next 9 hours talking nonstop. From then, they were basically inseparable. It didn't take long for their D&D friends to notice and ask ". . . sparks?"
Yes, sparks. Within a month, they were taking a cross-country train trip together, and Christina started sharing her love of Portland with Keenan. Since then, Keenan has graduated from law school, Christina started a new job, and, together, they've scaled Katahdin, moved to Maine, and brought the best puppy in the world into their home.
They are so excited to discover what adventures await them together - both in D&D and in married life.
